Microsoft Launches InTune
REDMOND, Wash. — Microsoft has launched its PC cloud management system, Windows InTune, designed to simplify and help businesses manage and secure PCs using Windows cloud services and Windows 7.
Microsoft said Windows Intune cloud service delivers management and security capabilities through a single web-based console so users can keep their computers operating at peak performance from anywhere.
InTune can be used by in-house IT professionals or by solution providers to manage the PCs of multiple businesses.
The new system offers users insight into their PC environment where they can view and update malware status, alerts, security policies, track software updates and manage hardware and software deployments within the company.
The service, which comes with a 30 day trial period, will be offered in 35 countries worldwide including France, Germany, India, the U.K. and the U.S. Microsoft will be charging customers $11 per seat per month.
