PwnedbyGirls to Hold 'Make a Gaming Wish' Event
LOS ANGELES — PwnedbyGirls.com has announced its "11/11, Make a Gaming Wish” event, the first of many of what founder Alana Evans calls “Gaming and Giving” themed events to be hosted by the new site.
The 11/11 event will be held at a private location in the L.A. area with several guest gamer girls. PBG will also be taking submissions from the public and choosing 10 gamers to attend and play alongside the stars in a party environment. The action will stream live for free, however PBG will be providing information for viewers who would like to help PwnedByGirls.com purchase game systems and video games to be donated to the under-privileged at Christmas time.
"PwnedbyGirls is dedicated to both gaming and giving back to the gaming community," said Evans, who added that she and her husband Chris have been involved with a charitable group that helps support homeless children. "After seeing the staggering numbers of people visiting PwnedByGirls.com it became apparent that PBG has the potential to do great things for gaming and giving.
"PwnedbyGirls.com has already led us to some amazing opportunities, such as our site being redesigned by Pink Visual as well as the gaming community sending us massive support. We look forward to the future of our Gaming and Giving events."
Interested gamers must be 18 and over. To request an invite, visit PwnedbyGirls.com, and click on the contact page. The event will start at 7 p.m. PST on Nov. 11.
