Adam & Eve Surveys Consumer Shopping Preferences

HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. — AdamandEve.com has announced the results of a new poll about the shopping habits of adults in this month’s “Great American Sex Survey.”

When over 1,000 American adults were asked if they preferred to shop for adult items online or at a brick and mortar store, 63% said they preferred online shopping for their unmentionables.

“While a brick and mortar shop can mean instant gratification, online shopping still lends to the anonymity a lot of adults prefer when shopping for racier items,” said Dr. Kat Van Kirk, resident sexpert for AdamandEve.com. “The fact that so many online customers now order via next-day or two-day shipping means that even the delayed gratification isn’t that long of a wait.”

“Adam & Eve is pleased to be able to offer our customers the best of both online and brick and mortar shopping,” remarked Director of Marketing Chad Davis. “With over 50 retail stores spanning coast to coast, as well as our 24/7 online presence, Adam & Eve has something to meet everyone’s sexual comfort zone.”

The web-based survey, conducted by an independent third party survey company, of over 1,000 American adults age 18 and up, was sponsored by Adam & Eve to study sexual preferences and practices. "Sex Chat with Dr. Kat" and “Daily Sex Tips from Hawaii” can be found on podcasts through iTunes or drkat.com.
