DreamZone Begins Shipping 'E.T. XXX' Parody, Debuts Website
VAN NUYS, Calif. — DreamZone Entertainment today announced the shipping of "E.T. XXX: A DreamZone Parody," ahead of its Oct. 15 street date.
The studio has also launched the movie’s official website, where fans can view the film's trailer, soft galleries and news.
DreamZone said the Jim Powers-directed sci-fi parody, starring Capri Anderson, has been receiving a number of mainstream reviews, and retailers are urged to place their orders before it hits stores.
The cast also includes Veronica Radke, Jodi Taylor, Alana Evans, Logan Pierce, Tyler Nixon, Bradley Remington and Will Powers.
The original blockbuster, directed by Steven Spielberg, was released in 1982. In the new version, Anderson, who gained notoriety after her involvement with actor Charlie Sheen, plays the part of Elle, the female counter-part to Elliott who befriends a lonely and horny alien.
Also appearing in the film are Veronica Radke, Jodi Taylor, Alana Evans, Logan Pierce, Tyler Nixon, Bradley Remington and Will Powers.
“Given the mainstream press that we have been receiving for 'E.T. XXX," we can’t wait to for the fans to get their hands on it,” DreamZone Vice President Adam Hasner, said.
He added, “We are very excited to begin the shipping process to retailers, and we are equally excited to get our website up so the fans can get a peek at the trailer and soft galleries. Jim Powers and the entire cast did a terrific job with the title. Cleve Hall also deserves a huge pat on the back for the ET suit design. I urge retailers to order today to meet the demands of their customers as this one will be high.”
The parody comes in a 2-disc deluxe collector’s edition that will also include SFW “friendly” versions of some of DreamZone's other parodies, as well as bonus scenes, trailers and photo galleries.
