FSC Extends Production Hold Through Monday

CANOGA PARK, Calif. — The Free Speech Coalition today said it is asking that all producers extend the current production hold through Monday until all tests for possibly affected performers are conclusive.

Said Diane Duke, who leads the Free Speech Coalition as executive director: "We understand that production delays are difficult for performers as well as producers. However, as always, for the safety and integrity of the performer pool, we need to err on the side of caution. We will continue to work with producers, performers and the health department to investigate, and determine when production can safely continue."

On Wednesday, the adult entertainment trade group called for a three-day hold on porn production as it investigated an HIV exposure on an "out-of-of-state" set.

In August, the FSC put a two-day moratorium on porn filming after receiving a report of a performer testing positive for HIV. The moratorium was lifted after it was determined that the HIV test was a false positive.
