NYC's CockyBoys Heading West in January
NEW YORK — Jake Jaxson, owner and director of NYC-based CockyBoys and crew will be heading to the west coast in January starting with Los Angeles for the Cybersocket Awards, XBIZ Awards and XBIZ 360 conference.
Jake Jaxson, RJ Sebastian and Benny Moorecock, along with exclusive models Levi Karter, Liam Riley, Tayte Hanson, Ricky Roman, Max Carter and Dillion Rossi will be on the west coast for all the industry festivities in January.
"I'm very excited to escape some of the NYC winter and spend January on the west coast hoping around Los Angeles and Las Vegas,” Jaxson said. “As an east coast studio, it's always fun to get over there and reconnect with industry friends as well as fans on that side of the country."
In a recent interview with XBIZ that can be found in the current issue of XBIZ Premiere, Jaxson says winning the 2014 award for Gay Director of the Year and Gay Studio of the Year for CockyBoys was one of his highlights of 2014.
This year he is nominated in the same categories at XBIZ Awards 2015, as well as a plethora of nominations at this year’s Cybersocket awards.
In addition to attending both award ceremonies, Jaxson will be on an industry panel at XBIZ 360 called “A Gay Porn Master Class,” taking place Jan. 15 at 3 p.m, moderated by Cybersocket Magazine co-founder Morgan Sommer.
The panel will consist of industry veterans such as director/producer ChiChi LaRue, Keith Miller of Helix Studios, Michael Lucas of Lucas Entertainment, Trenton Ducati, Douglas Richter of XCam, Gary Jackson of CCBill and Brent Aldon of Aneros.
Additionally, there will be other private fan meet-and-greets and club events to be announced while they are on the west coast, with details to-be-announced.
"I love the industry events in LA and Vegas because it's great seeing everyone together in one place from fans, studio owners, models, executives, press, etc.” Jaxson said. “XBIZ always does a superb job with the conference and the awards show, and Cybersocket has been doing their show for 15 years now, so I have no doubt it will be fantastic as always."
