Treasure Island Media Revamps B2C Site, Adds Porn Auctions

SAN FRANCISCO — TIMGlobal, the parent company of Treasure Island Media (TIM), has revamped its business-to-customer (B2C) wholesale site, BlueWoody.com, operated by New Barbary Coast Distribution making it accessible via desktop, tablet, and mobile phone. The new offering is also an auction site for porn star items.

Treasure Island said the new site is named after the casual, sexy attitude of the early 1960’s California surfer boy. It carries 36 top studios including Lucas Entertainment, Men.com, Dragon Media, Raging Stallion, Hot House, Triga, Corbin Fisher, Butch Dixon, and its own content.

“We’re thrilled about the new BlueWoody.com, which originally only carried wholesale DVDs from select industry giants. BlueWoody.com has diversified with the hottest products from around the world, including clothing, novelties, and digital streaming content,” said Matt Mason, TIMGlobal general manager.

He added, “We're getting ready to release the next phase, which will allow users to manage their own web pages and give them the ability to auction off content that they already own.”

The new site allows customers to bid on limited edition items from their favorite porn stars like signed DVD’s and used jockstraps from TIM’s most popular stars.

In addition to carrying TIM’s new clothing line TIMGear, BlueWoody offers discounted membership pricing to major porn studios, digital content from top studios, and a smoother transition to download-to-own offerings and gateway affiliation to streaming partners like AEBN and MaleFlixxx.

The company noted that the new venture continues its expansion of the TIM brand, reaching a wider audience and entering stronger partnerships and affiliations with other top studios in the adult entertainment industry.
