LOS ANGELES — Buck Angel Entertainment released today the fourth installment of the filmmaker/performer’s docu-series, “Sexing the Transman.”

The film, offered as a digital download, explores the personal transition of five transmen from female to male (FTM), and how the journey has had an impact on their sexuality.

“I feel so excited to be releasing ‘Sexing The Transman XXX Volume 4,’” Angel said. “This has been a work of passion for me. Since starting this genre back in 2002, I have seen little growth in trans male porn until recently. With this series, I have been able to explore and give a voice to other trans men.”

He added, “This series has been a great tool for me to use as an educational gateway into my mainstream speaking, as it has been used by many educational institutions. Thank you, for letting me share my vision of a world that knows no boxes when it comes to gender and sexuality.”

Angel interviews transmen in an educational sex series format that he said continues to open eyes and minds around the world with each installment. The director said he elicits intimate, in-depth conversations with transmen — and those who love them— on how their bodies, sexualities, and identities are affected by the medical and social processes of gender transition.

The film highlights how transitioning can open up a greater sense of freedom, desire, and willingness to explore new types of pleasure for transmen and their partners, according to Angel.

Angel noted that “Sexing the Transman” has received numerous accolades since its inaugural release including a 2012 Feminist Porn Award and numerous film festival nods. It's also been nominated for XBIZ and AVN awards.

Ten percent of all proceeds from sales of the documentary go towards the Woodhull Sexual Freedom Alliance, of which Angel is a board member. The Alliance works towards equality for all individuals, including trans individuals, with equal treatment and fully recognized human rights. The documentary is also available for licensing to use in schools and institutions, as well as public screenings and film festivals.
