Long Directs 'Deadpool XXX'
LOS ANGELES — Director Ralph Long told XBIZ Spizoo Entertainment will release its biggest production to date, “Deadpool XXX + X: A Porn Parody” in August.
The spoof will be hitting the streets on Aug. 15 through distributor Girlfriends Films six months ahead of its Hollywood counterpart due out in February 2016.
Like the mainstream film, Long’s parody follows the antihero Deadpool, a Marvel Comics character who is a mentally unstable mercenary with the superhuman power of accelerated healing. Deadpool, who first came to life in Marvel’s “The New Mutants” in 1991, also regularly breaks the fourth wall with humorous results.
“He’s always talking to the audience,” Long said. “He loves sex and violence and I thought he’d be a great porn character. … He talks to himself and he’s got voices in his head. He’s nuts, but he’s funny. He’s a crazy character.”
Ryan Reynolds portrayed Deadpool in the 2009 film “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” and is reprising the role for Hollywood’s “Deadpool” in February. Long will personally take on the porn character.
“I’m just playing myself,” he cracked.
The all-star cast also features Tommy Gunn as Wolverine — a role he previously played for Axel Braun in his 2013 “Wolverine XXX” parody. His character also has regenerative healing powers.
The reigning XBIZ Female Performer of the Year Anikka Albrite (Ms. Marvel), Allie Haze (Domino), August Ames (Rogue), Ava Addams (Lady Death) and Brittany Andrews (Kitty Pryde) also landed prominent roles.
Meanwhile, Long got Brandon Iron to play Stryker, the villain in the movie who does a blowjob scene with Dava Foxx, who plays a hooker. Kasey Wagner and Gabby Quinteros also play hookers, while Evan Stone is Punisher and Jovan Jordan appears in a street thug part.
Long said a couple of his friends from NYU wrote the screenplay for what turned into a five-day shoot.
“I have some buddies out there still going to school and they’re going to school for screenwriting. They wanted to write a porno script but didn’t want to be credited,” Long explained. “We went through three rewrites because they have big imaginations but I didn’t have the budget to do everything they wanted to do.”
Still, Long added, “We got it done and it was the biggest project Spizoo has done so far. Expect a lot of sex, a lot of action and a lot of CGI effects.”
Long said Lea Lexis created the superhero costumes. “Lea made all the outfits and all the props. I’ve known her for a long time and knew she made costumes,” he noted.
The scene pairings include Gunn and Addams; and Albrite and Ames in separate scenes with Long.
“Wearing that damn suit in that heat was killer man,” Long admitted, adding he also had to don a latex mask to simulate Deadpool’s facial burns. “I was sweating my ass off. I could see but it was very hard. The suit was skintight and my eyes were burning.”
Long said Spizoo.com would begin debuting individual sex scenes from the movie at the end of this month ahead of the DVD release.
On the heels of that spoof, Spizoo will roll out an original feature written and directed by Long called “The Colombian XXX.”
The movie, slated to release on Aug. 25 through Girlfriends Films, showcases rising star Isabella de Santos in the title role as a mob boss. De Santos is half Colombian and Peruvian and was raised partly in Colombia and Miami, where she graduated from high school.
“She’s in the pure Colombian sugar trade and they’re screwing up her sugar in the States,” Long said. “So she comes to fix her product. It’s a goofy little comedy.”
Van Wylde plays the sugar dealer in L.A. that de Santos’ character goes to meet.
“It was Isabella's first acting role and she did great,” said Long, who has helmed more than 30 movies in the past five years and has amassed hundreds of performing credits.
Allie Haze returns to Spizoo as an undercover cop along with Jessica Jaymes, while Long gets back in front of the camera as an Arabian drug dealer. Nadia Ali and Eric Masterson also appear.
The pairings include de Santos and Jaymes with Wylde in separate encounters; Haze and Masterson; and Long and Ali.
“It was fun trying to mix comedy in with a mob story,” Long said. “This was something lighthearted. I wanted to make a very simple story. We’re trying to get more stories into our movies.”
