LOS ANGELES — New Sensations has announced a Jan. 25 release date for "The Submission of Emma Marx — Exposed," the third and final chapter in its BDSM love story, from award-winning writer and director Jacky St. James.
"'Emma Marx' has meant so much to me as a director; it's a career-defining series that has been rewarding to create and challenging to execute, inspiring and demanding of the best from myself, my crew and our talent," St. James said.
"To soon have it released for people to see is exciting and a little scary, but I think fans of this story will be pleased with Emma's journey," she added.
"'The Submission of Emma Marx — Exposed' closes the book on one of adult cinema's most enthralling and complicated love stories," reads the announcement. "Leads Penny Pax and Richie Calhoun reprise their roles as Emma Marx and William Frederick, an unconventional couple living an intense and contractual BDSM relationship. The new sequel finds Emma faced with unexpected challenges that force her to question the ties she has known.
"Superstar Riley Reid is back in her award-winning role as Emma's bubbly sister Nadia with Van Wylde returning as her loving husband Ray," it continues. "Sara Luvv cameos once again as William's former submissive and performs in a scene with series newcomer Samantha Hayes. Rounding out the cast, and also new to the films, are Aidra Fox and Ryan Driller."
"The Submission of Emma Marx" released in 2013, earning a Best Supporting Actress win for Reid at the 2014 XBIZ Awards. The film was named Steamiest Romantic Movie at the 2014 Feminist Porn Awards and won the 2014 XRCO awards for Best Release, Best Director — Features and Best Actor. It is also featured in the Showtime documentary "X-Rated: The Greatest Adult Movies of All Time."
"This year's eagerly anticipated sequel, 'The Submission of Emma Marx: Boundaries,' exceeded all expectations, topping sales charts and reaping praise from adult media, including Editor Choice reviews from leading industry trade... XBIZ," states the announcement.
"'Boundaries' also received a lot of mainstream attention, garnering coverage in such noted sites as HuffPost, CraveOnLine, UpRoxx, SluttyGirlProblems, DailyDot, Fleshbot and Salon, which heralded St. James as 'The Woman Who Conquered Porn,'" it concludes.
